Thorncombe Sports and Social club has been established for over 50 years and currently has a membership in excess of 250. The club runs many different social and sporting activities. The bar functions as the village pub since all the other pubs in Thorncombe have sadly long since closed down. To view our sporting activities and achievements select the 'sports' link.

Thorncombe Sports and Social Club has Community Amateur Sports Club status.

Membership is open to all at a current cost of £5 per adult, pensioners and under 18 at a cost of £2.50. Membership runs from 1st May to 30th April.

The club is open every evening from 7.30 pm onwards and maintains a small bar expertly run by our bar manager Pete. The bar sells a selection of beers and lagers with at least two real ale on tap at any time. Friday from 5.30pm onwards for "early doors".
